The Hobart City Art Prize opened this past Friday. Didn’t win the cash, but Tasmanians are so nice you can’t hold it against them. And I got to visit MONA. FINALIST: HOBART ART PRIZE

One of the Makeshift series of drawings-in-space has been selected as a finalist in the 2011 City of Hobart Art Prize. The judging panel for this year includes Rachel Kent (MCA), Linda Michael (Heide Museum) and MONA. The show opens on 23rd July and runs until 18 September 2011. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
