Super Six opens in Sydney

Super Six engages seven artists to explore the architectural, environmental, social and historical aspects of asbestos in the built environment. ‘Super Six’ corrugated asbestos cement sheeting was one of James Hardie’s signature products. ‘Super Six’ is to commercial sites what the ‘fibro sheet’ is to domestic cottages. The resulting show includes video, audio, object, installation and painting, including 4 new works by Connie Anthes.
Curated by Gilbert Grace, the artists are: Connie Anthes, Warren Armstrong, Sarah Breen Lovett, Gilbert Grace, Georgina Pollard, Peter Williamson and Alex Wisser at DNA Projects, 3 Blackfriars St, Chippendale.
